SQL

We have extensive experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

For most jobs, we recommend MySQL (if your primary concern is speed) or PostgreSQL (if you want a mature, full-featured SQL server), but we certainly understand the comfort level of the commercial alternatives.

Our background in formal logic gives us an unusual level of understanding of the relational model, and the limits of the SQL language. We are currently engaged in a secret project to develop middlware to mitigate those limits. More details forthcoming...
