Cyc is the twenty-plus-year Artificial Intelligence project we worked on for a while. It represents the closest the world has to Artifical Intelligence today.

It's still mostly experimental, but becoming more practical every day. For the right project, it's just about ready to bring serious real-world understanding to a software product.
